Individual Scholarschip Fund Donations

The Pierre Desroches Memorial Scholarship Fund was created through donations from his mother, Charlotte, and Doreen Ringer-Ross. Pierre was lost in a MH-47 training accident on 7 March 1996. Desroches Hall and this scholarship fund serve as daily reminders of Pierre’s striving for excellence and dedication to duty, country and patriotism. The winner of the Desroches Scholarship is selected by the donors and Pierre’s son, Roger Desroches, based upon the hard working ideals that Pierre lived. Applicants that are dependant children (not over the age of 23) of active or associate Night Stalker Association members are eligible for this

The Raymond A. Frank Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by a grant from the Auen-Berger Foundation with Wilma A. (Willie) Frank designated as grantee. Ray was killed in action on October 3, 1993 while defending his fellow Night Stalkers and ground force members of TF Ranger in the vicinity of his crashed MH-60 SOF assault helicopter. Frank Hall and this scholarship fund remind us daily of Ray’s many contributions to the 160th and the national security of our country. The winner of the Frank Scholarship is selected by the scholarship committee from applicants that are the wife of an active duty Nightstalker based upon previous educational efforts, recognition and awards for civic activities and financial need.    

The Scholarship Fund for Children or Spouses of Fallen Night Stalkers was established by Mr. Harry Robertson, President/CEO of Robertson Aviation, to provide an avenue for continued education for the dependants of our fallen heroes. The Fallen Night Stalker Fund has provided financial assistance to all applicants since inception.    

The Dillon Aero Scholarship Fund was established by Mr. Mike Dillon, President/CEO of Dillon Aero, to provide an avenue for continued education for Night Stalker Association members and their dependants. All applicant categories are eligible for this scholarship fund.

The TF 160 / C-158 Fallen Nightstalker Scholarship Fund was established by an anonymous donor in memory of fallen comrades. All applicant categories are eligible for this scholarship fund.  

The Corey Goodnature Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by donations from the Goodnature family and friends. Applicants that are the wife or dependant child (not over the age of 23) of active duty Night Stalkers are eligible for this scholarship.

The Huntsville Chapter of the NSA Scholarship Fund was established by Nightstalker Alumni in an effort to provide an avenue for continued education for all Night Stalkers and Night Stalker Association members and their dependants.  One scholarship will be awarded to each battalion, with first priority going to CAT III. In the absence of a CAT III applicant, the funds will revert to the general scholarship fund with one scholarship award to each battalion.

The Molly M. Dotterer Memorial Scholarship Fundwas established by Patricia and Jack Dotterer to provide an avenue for continued education for Night Stalker Association members and their dependants.  All applicant categories are eligible for this scholarship.
