HI,
My name is SGT Nelson. I was advised by a 1SG that it was worth a try to see if the NSA could purchase books for the A&P course at NCI in Clarksville. The books are $269 and would kept in the unit so that other soldiers would be able to use them also.
Being in LBM of F Co, we have a high turn over of Soldiers who leave and go the line company. Having books for them to study and be certified mechanics highly prepared for the line company is a win-win situation.
I am currently preparing to take the class but finacially it is a burden. If the books could be purchased, it would result in one soldier being more qualified in the unit and endless more.

Could I or should I make donations through the NSA for the acquisition of the needed learning materials for SGT Nelson and his outfit?

Brad, speaking with CSM Chambers and CSM Mastrian, these books are available through the supply system. I believe they are working the issue right now.
